MY JOURNEY
Kia ora whanau
My name is Alex Mihaka - Rossiter aka Alex The Barber. I am 25 years of age, Happily Married to my beautiful wife of 7 years Imaghe Mihaka - Rossiter and a very proud father of our 2 Beautiful Daughters Nevaeh and Khaleel.
(FUN FACT: if wondering what .ink was? i.n.k stands for " I.maghe N.evaeh K.haleel ")
I have completed My Level 3 Certificate in Hairdressing with my partner back in Hastings in 2012, forward to 2017, My wife and I, would reunite to further our qualifications together, this time under the same institute but in different directions, Myself pursuing my passion for Barbering whilst my wife went on to follow her passion and complete her Level 4 Certificate In Hairdressing.
2018 has brought many amazing experiences along this barber journey some being in competing in 2 barber competitions one of them actually against my wife and younger brother, studying and experiencing a barber school, got to work in a few barber shops, just the entire journey and process itself has been humbling.
We are now currently situated in Rotorua. where I currently work from home as a barber, Stay tuned fam so much more to come.
My Wife, she is now working as a Hairstylist @Lush Hair and Beauty in Rotorua as she nears the end of her journey to becoming a Fully Qualified Hair Stylist. (Dream come true type of Accomplishment set years ago as high schoolers) Be sure to head over to her journey on facebook @Ems Hairdressing Journey and show some love, the most naturally talented and gifted stylist I know, won't want to miss out.
Loving the journey more than ever, still have a lot to learn to chase the dream of one day owning our Own Shop together, Maybe the girls might want to have a try on the clippers one day...
